Project Cost Control Specialist
Hybrid: Remote / Puerto Rico Travel
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Cost Control Specialist position requires working knowledge of financial & economic analysis, project & risk management. The position will focus on reviewing electric power construction projects with varying risks and schedules

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES
The successful Specialist will:

Develop, monitor, and update cost estimates and project spend, corresponding with project schedule

Provide analyses of project estimates and schedule

Support Project Managers and work collaboratively with Project Schedulers and Project Estimators

Prepare earned value reporting and measure Cost Performance Indexes

Obtain timely information from key team members related to the execution of support plans, logistics coordination, changes in scope, schedule impacts, etc.

Develop monthly, annual and project lifetime cost forecast

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

50% travel to work in Puerto Rico is required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
-
2 - 4 Year College Degree in applicable field.

Proficient with cost estimating and earned value development.

Demonstrate high attention to detail.

Possess excellent written and verbal skills.

Enjoys working as a team and has good communication skills.
-
General knowledge of schedule logic and project sequencing.
-
Must be a US citizen and have a valid driver’s license.
