**Office-based in Wixom, MI, for first 2-3 months with on-the-job training. Opportunity to move to 20%-40% working from home**

POSITION SUMMARY
KLE is seeking Associate Engineers to join our growing Wixom, Michigan Office. The Associate Engineer may be required to perform activities such as cost estimating, document review and analysis, preparation and correction of drawings, ordering material, initiation of permits, preparing operating and maintenance instructions, compilation and reporting of technical data, and performance of other related duties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With minimal supervision, perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to the following:

• Collect data and gather information or documents

• Perform standard computations and analysis

• Perform basic design tasks

• Prepare drawings and visual aids

• Assist on other tasks such as: preparation of material specification/selection, technical reports, plans and procedures, drawings, permit applications, project documentation, and computer-aided design (CAD) work

• Acquire basic knowledge and develop skills in assigned workstreams

• Apply prescribed techniques and procedures in accordance with established KLE, industry, and client standards, specifications, and processes to perform assigned tasks

• Perform routine technical work not requiring previous experience

• Acquirean  understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities

• Exercise limited judgment on details of work and in the application of standard methods for conventional work

• Demonstrate sound engineering judgment

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering

• 0-2 years relevant work experience

• Working knowledge of CAD and GIS software (Desired)

• Technical communication

• Proficient use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint

• Valid Driver's license
